So whats the point of the green bar for building health?
Im literally lost on the point behind the 2 seperate portions of building health I know it represents barriers but why even have the green portion if it never even gets touched?

So you can't just destroy buildings that can't be razed due to zombie proximity anymore.

Actually, this is one of the game's flaws. I love this game played countless hours on it, but the two bars at the moment have no real meaning and it's sometimes confusing to the player

Ideally, you want to have just one HP bar that is green when full hp, yellow when dmg and red on low hp.

Once it goes 0, the building will still be there. Just have to remove the visual aspect of the building's 2nd health bar.
I'm assuming there will be some form of PvP soon where players can destroy buildings. personally I would like a PvPvE so you drop into a bigger map all 4 players need to survive. You can all win together or you can kill a player to take their resources to give you a better chance to survive without them.

I feel like something like this would go with the feel of the current setting. Maybe add some caravan feature to share resources with allies but need to be protected on the way across the map etc etc.

How are you gonna PVP when there is no multiplayer planned?

The green bar also represents the building time I guess? It's hp rises when you build, so i figure it has some connection with it.

Doesnt have to be pvp, just a source of non zombie damage, like npc humans. Just speculation of course, but I assume the other game modes like campain might make use of that green health bar.

Pretty sure you've nailed this one. Best I can tell, it shows when it's production is done (CC giving oyu gold, you don't get it in pieces. When the green bar is done, you get all the gold for the day... Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Since buildings fall to the infected so fast I basically ignore the health bars.

There are two bars. The green bar that fills over time and refills is indeed the timer for resources being produced.

The other bar is the health bar and is split into two portions. The green portion represents the building's HP, while the yellow portion represents defensive barriers. As Quineloe pointed out, building HP prevents players destroying buildings by force attacking them before they get infected once the defensive barriers are close to being breached.

The 2 bars are easy to understand, if you run out of yellow the building becomes infected, if you run out of green the building is destroyed.

Hence why buildings with no colonist to infect dont have a yellow bar and only green. Walls, towers, etc

which serves no purpose at all cause the only way to destroy a building is by yourself press a button

we must not have the same kind of walls and towers, because theyre easily destroyed by zombies

You can force your units to attack your own structures, which most people don't think about as a means of preventing infection. The game only stops you razing structures when infected are very close, but you can prevent snowballing infections this way.

It's a pretty niche tactic, because if you have the fire-power to destroy a building before it's infected you can probably tackle whatever is coming. I'd imagine it would be much more exploitable if buildings had less overall health.

I expect it to play a role in the campaign that is in the works.
Most likely enemy non-undead units.

The green bar is horribly misleading and generally useless. The fact it uses 3/4th of the bar is even dumber since you get a very poor idea of how damaged something is.

Thats my exact issue with it. Ill be looking at a building and I cant tell how much more itll take before its infected.
