Horde arriving too early on 150 days?

I am still trying to beat the first map with 22% score factor, and I'm starting to nail down how my defences work and how to expand. But my last playthrough I noticed that the final wave came 2 weeks early, on day 136 of my game. Instead of 150 like it was supposed to. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's how its designed. On 120 days setting it comes at day 109, and on 100 days setting it comes at day 90.

Hordes will always arrive early since the goal is to survive until 150 days so you will win once its exactly 150 days and your command center still stands no matter if there are any hordes or zombies that still survive.

For example if you're playing for 100 days the horde will arrive on day 90-92 instead and you will either have to beat the horde or last until it reaches 100 days.

Hordes tend to arrive ~1 week before you win. ;)

that's so you cannot just "ride the momentum" to victory. The horde arrives before the final day, and if you're still alive on day 150, you win.

150 days is more like 2 weeks. ive seen this thread topic pop up before and in the last one my thoughts were that the game is using a percentage of the total days. where if you play shorter days you need to survive a shorter time. if you play longer days you need to survive a longer time at the end. it actually makes it harder for new players and those who actually need to play on easy modes because they cant beat the game on brutal. the longer survival times means they cant even hope for living through to day 150 in the best of circumstances. they HAVE to kill the horde or its just over.

That is the case for ALL game lengths, even on 80 days they come too hard and too fast so there is no just 'surviving' until day 80 and you have to kill them all. They arrive on 72 and usually are dead by 74. Unless a zed gets trapped somewhere in the tress which can happen.

I can't believe how often this comes up. It's normal. It's not a bug.
