Houses start with more people train brings them otherwise houses do nothing. Also some tech make it do more.

Honestly to me it would make sense for the train to bring a fixed amount of people each time thou not unlimited.

It brings colonists to the houses you build. Then more things if you unlock in tech.. like bringing gold. Its explains all of this crystal clear in game

Thanks for the answer.. but i started the campaign and this game explains nothing. There is not even a tutorial or training mission. Its intro and bam onto the first mission. No explanation of ressource management or why you need what. Everything was self explaining to some degree besides the train.

Only through researching the game i found out about the research points being hidden on the map and so on.

It is explained in game if you click your cc and you do many times a game as anytime you click the map it defaults to the cc there is a train icon. That icon mousing over tells you all about the train.

Took me 30 mins to relise it was brining in the population I really thought for 30 mins that it was JUST for "art" and wondering why they wasted time hyping it xD

It really was a waste of time to hype and make it. All it dose it add build time to tents and otherwise and slows down the pace.

It would of been better if the train brought x number of pop each time and if you had houses they got of if you dint they dint so you always wanted x houses per train vs massing aimlessly. This would of let them make pop numbers that don’t require 100 percent coverage of the map only constant expanding with a reasonable pace to keep up with the train. It would also more feel like the train is doing something vs just adding build time pointlessly.

An arbitrary limit on growth in a game that already pushes you to be fast? Makes no sense.

I LOVE doing this :)
Train is a great teammate to have when a big swarm comes, guide em towards the train.

It's crystal clear if you know where to look, but it's not crystal clear where to look.

All you had to do was follow the damn Train CJ.
prayanspray Jul 27, 2019 @ 6:43am
it's to bring resources and people to you're new colony, which would happen in real life unless you prefer to have a few colonists at first and then wait till they have kids lol
