How to unlock Pre-Order DLC?

Greetings,

Only a few hours to go before you can grab your weapon and start chopping.
We’re happy to share with you a guide on how to unlock your Pre-Order bonuses.

This DLC includes the following elements:

• Warren’s Well-Used Cutter
  
• URBN Gear Set
  
• URBN Judgement Axe
  
• URBN Skimmer Drone
  
• LootScan.exe Radar Module
  
• Online Message Icon

Keep in mind that you will not be able to access all DLC elements immediately, even if the DLC is properly installed. First, you need to:

• finish the first level, and
  
• interact with a medbay to unlock the drone.

To find Warren’s weapon and URBN Gear set, please follow these steps:

Warren's Well-Used Cutter

Warren’s Well-Used Cutter can be found in a chest located in the Stranger’s underground hideout. When you have your EMP drone, you can use the door under the broken bridge in Downtown Jericho City to access the area.

URBN Cerberus

To unlock the URBN Gear Set, you first need to find enemies equipped with this armor set. Just like looting other armor and weapons, you need to target this special enemy’s body parts and chop them off to get your Pre-Order bonuses.

Below are the locations where you can find this special enemy.

Downtown

There are two enemies in the back street next to the lift in downtown. One of them is in front of a dead end, while the other one is in a building that you can access by climbing the stairs.

Another special enemy can be found in the orange tent in downtown, near the entry of Gateway Bravo.

The last one awaits you in front of the first Scanner Gate that is located in downtown Jericho City.

If your pre-order DLC is missing, please follow these steps:

1. Run Steam and click Steam (upper left) > Settings > Downloads.
2. Click on the CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE button and click OK.
3. Steam will restart automatically.
4. Right click on The Surge 2 > Properties.
5. Click the LOCAL FILES tab and click on the VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES button.

А сразу отдать все предметы из DLC было не возможно? Я как бы предзаказал игру, а сейчас ещё должен бегать и искать где же мои купленные DLC?

How can one find the "lootscan" radar module, though? In The Surge 1, it was found in a locker in OPS. No such counterpart can be found in The Surge 2.

I ended up finding the Drone - magically appears after you escape the PD. I'm in full agreement with the above. Please look into letting us pick the drone skin and potentially our clothes. The URBN Drone looks like a TV test pattern puked on my gear.

You say at the first Scanner Gate, but there are only normal Police Dudes.
Where is he exactly?

Yea, got my whole set from 2 enemies. Aside formal bosses, I have yet to find not respawning enemies

There are a few. There's a pretty high-level enemy on the bridge leading to the building with the catwalks and the dead-end courtyard who doesn't respawn once you kill him the first time. He has the modular double weapon.

Can it be that you can "softlock" this part of DLC if you progress to far in the story?

Thing is i totaly forget this part of the Map and the Stranger got captured when was in the A.I.D. Area.

Now i did re-explore Jericho and found the Hideout with the chest but i have no way to open it and it only shows me the Info "Open to access the contend" but the button to open the chest doesn´t show up no matter from what side i check it.

DLC is active cus i have the URBN Gear already but i have the feeling that the chest only opens when the stranger still is in the hideout or did i have overlooked something here?

I got the same problem as well. didn't know where the hideout was until I luckily stumbled upon it after I obtained my EMP drone. but unfortunately I have met him in the Cell first.
