how to clean sink?

i have been dumping excess liquids in the kitchen sink (because common sense irl) instead of the trash, but the way the sponge works, it's impossible for me to clean the side of the sink closest to the player. i just can't get the right angle.

i also just found out there's an achievement for keeping your kitchen clean, and now i'm upset because i won't be able to get it without the magic wand, just because i was using basic reasoning, assuming liquids should go down a drain and not into a plastic bag.

i have since learned i can just dump liquids into the trash and i have been doing that, but do i really have to buy that stupid wand if i ever want a clean sink again? why can't i just fill the sink with water to rinse it?

I don't have a perfect solution, but I have two walkarounds for it.

1. If you are aiming for the achievement, you'd better take the first perk as the 'magic wand' which clears all the stains and broken porcelain shards.

2. You can always dispose any contents of any utensils onto the trash bin, no matter the liquid or solid. Click only once.

I found that clicking towards the back area of the sink (with sponge in hand) moved my camera overhead to clean the sink where I could finally get to the spills inside the sink
