Oculus of Abaddon?
What do I do with this thing?

Because despite the fact it has some pretty nice abilities, it won't let me equip it to any of the characters in my party.

A bunch of special bonuses, one of which giving the wearer the ability to cast True Sight as if they were a level 20 caster.

It also mentions giving the wearer the ability to see glimpses of the future, but cautions that each time you do so, you risk seeing something truly awful, or having something truly awful see you!

I haven't tried yet, but at some point I want to make a trip back out to Vordekai's Tomb and see if I can put it on that altar in one of the rooms to destroy it. I think that might be an evil option, though. Have to try it and see :P

You won't be able to, front door locks down when you trigger first poison trap.

Would also like to know this

Yeah I realized that today when I tried to revisit. That's disappointing. There was another way out, surely I could have used that to get back in... Thanks for the warning, though.

I had same idea when stumbled upon that altar. Getting a refund from a Horseman of Apocalypse would be too convenient apparently.

You can sell the Oculus of Abaddon for roughly 20,000 gold. Quite helpful, considering this glitch can give you two of them!

Yea but not sure it's worth losing Tristian over it.. my quest log still has the Oculus entry active even tho i'm already king and Tristian is back

I was playing a Vivisectionist. I decided omniscient knowledge of the universes was more valuable than a second Cleric in the party. :P

I actually have Tristian and the Occulus. I think, since I pulled the mob back to where you talk to the Iron Golem, it bugged it out location-wise. He destroys the Occulus in the story, but then I looted it off her corpse too. I thought it was weird, but what was I gonna do? :P

In pnp, there was an incredible combo with this item.

A Serpent-blooded sorcerer can affect animals and magical beasts as if they were humans who share a language. The pnp Occulus has a once/year ability (dunno if the crpg version does or not) or mass charm person everyone in like a 5 mile radius or something (it has been a while, so I have forgotten exact numbers)... you see where this is going? Serpent Sorc mass-charms not only all humanoids, but all animals and magical beasts as well. Instand army, so long as you don't mind your party hating you for making it rain blood in your kingdom and inviting the horsemen over for tea.
