I have a mage that can do restoration if you need some help..lol. I have gotten so many curses over the game, i learned i need to do this. OP thought this would be a easy rpg like final fantasy which is what i call the hand holding rpg's. This is a hardcore one. Try undungeon, it is even harder than this one and i beat it twice.
Ive been doing it quite awhile too. Used to play D@D in the 1980's. I had some 1970's manual's too.
Plus, in this game, remove curse won't help at all with the OP topic. Doesn't mean this thread deserved any responses - just pointing out remove curse logic.
"Accidentally programmed to do quadruple damage" apparently means "damage is reasonable enough", lol.
Yes, it's a curse. No, you can't get rid of it via Remove Curse. It's a story curse - you get rid of it by continuing the story.
Even if you could get rid of it via remove curse, 1d20+5 caps at 25 which is almost certainly less than what the curse DC would be. Even in a tabletop game, 1d20+5 seems like a poor investment of 375gp, but that certainly depends on the GM.
