resurect companions?
They say you can visit healers in your capitol that can resurrect and remove conditions on them.
But the only thing i can get from the is buying scrolls and potions. Am i missing something?

The healer sells scrolls for each condition :)

i found a resurect scroll once.... havent needed to use it yet... i guess you buy a resurect scroll off those healers and can use that to resurect a dead companion maybe? ...... and maybe you need to be at the place where your dead companions corpse is? ..... and maybe if your left and the corpse isnt there you cant do it maybe? maybe need to ressurect them fresh once they died? ....not sure, im just throwing guesses based on the resurect scroll i have :P

anyways its probably best to avoid deaths, resurecting them says they gain 2 negative levels... which i guess makes it so they can only get to level 18 max? doesnt seem worth resurecting.
You can regain the lost levels. but problem is how am i supposed to resurect them if i cant use the scrolls

I found it mildly annoying that I could buy ressurection (or any other affliction) scrolls in the capital but to use them on my companions had to to go to some other place where the dead person and someone who can use scrolls is in my group. am I missing something?

very bad system of ressurection indeed, you should be able to pay clerics directly for ressurects ( or pray or smth ). Scrolls are for outdoor.

One of the patches mentioned that the healer would now offer to cast the scroll on your behalf if you were unable to use it. I haven't had occasion to actually test that because I always reload.

Clerics characters use ressurection without device DC i beilive, other characters roll device check. Since you have 2 clerics, its unlikely at least one of them isnt alive.

You need to suceed dc of 29 for it to work.

I must be playing easy mode or something? My paladin died during a fight and, once the monsters were dead and the encounter was over, the pally came back to life with a small amount of health.

It depends on the difficulty yes.

When you're near friendly cleric they cast scroll for you. However their level can still be too low to end some effects like the Dog condition.

If you're playing Easy or lower, people just come back to life after battle.

If you're playing Normal, they get a "Death's Door" condition the first time they die and come back to life, but if they die again before you rest at a safe place to remove that condition, they die for reals.

And I think on any difficulty, a character has to have more than their CON score in negative HP to actually die; if they're merely at negative HP less than their CON they get back up with a few extra HP above zero after the battle ends.

^ yup.... and you can literally walk through cloud of stuff that takes your constitution down but your health doesnt go down so at first you will ignore thinking its cool and just take the status debuff.... then your char drops dead and your like...wth man lol ... then you realise the constitution thing and if con goes to a low point you just die regardless of health

I like how everyone is purposefully ignoring the op being lied to by the horrible game about a healer reviving party members.

When you are in town you can directly use the scroll without check (even if you are not a cleric) which in RP is the cleric using the scroll for you. The game doesn't lie, it did not say it would be free.

In a settlement with a cleric scroll trader you need to buy the scroll you need. Then to get the cleric trader to cast it 1) open inventory, 2) right click on the character that you want to raise and select open character screen. 3) right click on the character again and select open inventory. 4) find the raise/resurrect scroll that you want to cast, right click it and select use. Long winded process but it should work.
