Do you really of the idea that devs implemented evil to ruin your game? lol.

Eh, never say never....there are very few games, in my experience, in which playing evil makes sense :/ that's why i was asking.

First things first, however, lawful evil seems to be kinda op. Stocks + Bulletin post is a fixed +3 to barony rolls in the region. Really kicks ass at the beginning.

Well rest assured, lawful evil is a valid way to rule your barony. And for anyone who disagree... you have gallows in your city.

The problem with any of the alignments is that the game doesn't provide enough options. So you'll find yourself as a LE person occasionally having to choose the LG choice just to keep your lawful alignment. You'll also find yourself choosing good over neutral.

It makes no sense that in order to stay CE, CG, LE, or LG, you have to make choices that are completely against what your code should be in order to keep the alignment.

What's really annoying are when all the choices affect alignment but none of them are your alignment.

The real suggestion should be to have a LE kingdom, but don't have a character that requires a specific alignment.

Also, the guards in black armor are badass :D
Too bad Hylund and his recruit still wear the normal one :(

its just a matter what do you value higher. A law or being evil ( by nature or other ). Sometimes in order to keep law you need to stray from evil and in order to establish yourself as evil you need to show those weaklings some chaotic evil actions. "Pure" alighment doesnt make sense, you adjust to world, not world to your narrow mindness. LE is very friendly with most LN actions and neutral overall.

Let's be honest: most advisors won't like it when you choose evil options, so it might be very difficult to keep a full council.

To be honest, as far as ive seen it, ruler choices are aalmost never associated with an alignment. It's just a course of action. So, advisors won't argue with you because you've been evil, they argue with you because you didn't agree with them

Lot of them seemed to be alignment-related. Such as allowing necromancy in your kingdom. Only one magister is fine with that, and the player might not yet have him by the time the issue comes up.

And two of the possible curators hate all kinds of propaganda and are heavily for freedom of speech.

There's just not a whole lot of advisors who are fine with LE decisions in the long run. Might run out of them..

Don't listen to folks like @Graygan, it is really hard to lose alignment. I have a LE character and kingdom, are about halfway in the game and managed to get my alignment "moved" only 1/3rd up twoards neutral, despite the mountain of chaotic-x and x-good decisions. It is really hard to lose alignment in this game, unless you never pick options of your own alignment or answers that have no alignment attached.

I'm LN. I have people put to death as needed and there are times when I select LG, LE, N, NG, NE. Generally the only thing I don't select is chaotic actions. The only time I had an advisor comment...

Spoilers follow:

... was when Valerie didn't like that I took the money (er... taxed) the guy who was gouging the peasants trying to flee my kingdom over the bridge. But hey, they are trying to leave and I have no way of getting their money back to them, so F him.
