Rest classes don't get anything from deity (well, without GM or dying xD).
As I said, it's not a big thing, especially compared to all the other things missing in this game, but also wouldn't be complicated to implement imo.
The devs also told us we'd be able to choose a state religion for our kingdom. Well, I'm sitting here with 4 or 5 ranks in Divine, and that option still hasn't appeared in game, yet.
I am very disappointed with this. The idea of making my kingdom worship Asmodeus was the entire reason I made my first character an Inquisitor. When I ran out of patience with that, I rerolled a new character who wasn't a Magus inspired version of a Cleric.
It costs money. They found something better to use it on.
Yeah first priority was to deliver a technically well made game *giggles*
Wouldn't mind making myself High Priest for that matter or at least talking on some "divine" type missions but that's asking too much. At a basic level I think -and this should be doable- I would at least want some acknowledgement of being a priest...
Bull crap! All you have to do is add the option to the character generator, and you're done.
Even if it doesn't offer any supernatural powers to non-religious classes, it can still unlock the religious specific dialogue options for the other classes.
Of course I can choose one and make it all up in my head. My character secretly worships Lamashtu, that's why I let nok nok do whatever he wants.
What I'm saying is, being able to choose one during character creation at least enables the chance of some sort of background being acknowledged by companions or NPCs. Making everything up for myself won't.
I'm pretty sure a "High Priest" King is called "the Pope."
Lol
I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one missing this little detail, maybe we'll be lucky enough to see it some time in the future then. c:
