They did regain, 10 per round. But those that were unconscious died when the leader died.
That's an ability of the wild hunt prince / king / whatever gives them, no nothing "linked" to him can die as long as he lives, and they will get fast healing 10 or something.
I dunno, i almost always skip blind fight and just buff my party with freedom of movement, and i'm doing fine in hateot.
Yes it can (and sometimes will) be dispelled, but it's pretty rare and i can deal with one of my guy being paralyzed now and then.
If you have access to echolocation to deal with concealment (or true sight i guess, since i heard it now works), i think you could just skip blind fight and get something else. If you don't however, blind fight is definitely worth it, on your melee characters.
Yeah, people keep countering my suggestion with that.
Thing about FoM is that it costs a spell slot, has a limited duration, and can only be used on one person at a time.
Blind Fight is a constant effect, gives you immunity to all gaze attacks (including Gorgon petrification), and improves your ability to fight stealthier enemies.
ALSO, Blind Fight makes your characters immune to a Nymph's charm ability, which is very useful when she tries to turn the men against each other.
Barring dispel (which i think only monarchs do), one scroll will buy you over an hour of fom.
Didn’t know about the nymph’s thing, but never had one if my character charmed either.
Not saying blind fight is a waste per se, but on a feat hungry build it’s really nice to be able to skip it.
I would recommend this feast at least for your frontliner, as it helps against concealment (and potentially your healer if possible to be sure that one never gets full stun)
