Speak for yourself. I love the monster races! Praise Lamashtu!
Also, I'm trying to do a romance path with Regongar, and I want the character involved to be a female Half Orc who isn't automatically shoehorned into the role of Barbarian.
I can find plenty of male Barbarians, Fighters, Rogues and even spell casting Half Orcs, all of whom look like actual Half Orcs. But when it comes to females, they're almost universally warriors or rangers, and redesigned to look beautiful.

Probably too low-resolution for the larger portrait sizes here.
Strongly suggest you look at heroes portrait pack on nexus (it's actually pinned on the forum).
There's also a new tiefling portrait pack.
Yeah. They got us excited for the announcement they'd be adding new portraits to the game, but when they finally came out, it was just 2 of them. A "human sorcerer" (which is obviously a frickin WIZARD), and another female Aasimar.
Meanwhile, the ONLY portrait of a Half Elf available in the base game continues to be Jamandi Aldori...
The problem is the complete lack of portraits in total that doesn't even cover every race and sex
There really is no logic to the portraits. Even for the race/genders they did cover. Like its great they did two Dwarven women. But did we really need two female dwarven crossbow users? Mix it up a little.
Luckily its super easy to put your own portraits in, so I'd rather they waste their energy on something more useful. Like being able to change your appearance/portrait/colors after character creation. Thats basic stuff even Baldur's Gate 1 had in.
True. From what I'm seeing, people keep voting on the exact same crap that has appeared in countless video games involving D&D and Pathfinder to date. I was excited by the idea of trying out something new. I didn't even know Dhampires existed in this universe, until I heard about the voting poll!
But no, people wanted the Aasimar... a race that I have almost never seen anybody play in table top (hell of a lot of Tieflings, though).
Given that they still have the Elemental bloodlines for Sorcerer, and that female vampire portrait, I'm hopeful the other two races will eventually be added to the game. Let's hope they don't leave all their developmental choices up to popularity of vote...
