Portal Maze at Lostlarn's.

I am confused about where to go. I managed to open the way, I managed to get the ankou barrier down (dealing with Nightmare, Earth Elemental and Monastic Deva first)... and I would really appreciate the answer to whether there is anything more to the maze afterwards or I am just letting my obsessive-compulsive completionist side control me.

[In specific, I am curious about e.g. room with Taldan Nobles in it - and room to the NW of the earth elemental. are those accessible through portals?]

ah dang I tried everything and couldn't open that barrier with the thing inside what was that anyway or if it will impact the decision import as well?

You mean central room barrier? Try Left Bottom teleporter in central room – if it is working – and then bottom teleporter in the resulting room.

You have one run in with potentially the boss of the dung - I don't know, I didn't finish it - and otherwise battle with ankou in the barrier in the central room. Which doesn't seem significant, but has good loot, albeit thing is very hard. (like Armor Class 35 and some summons hard; I would buff your attack rolls as much as possible).

edit: If left bottom teleporter in central room it is not working… go right bottom at central room, left [well, upper left of the three], left and then bottom. I think you still have to kill at least Earth Elemental before that, though.

Ah so hopefully it won't make a difference for the outcome then when you import it if its just loot dang, oh well guess i'll try it again later ha

Well, you also have run in with talking skull. It muses that all of art is an illusion, yet not all illusions are worthy of being art… and then it is taken aback by its awesome saying. That’s about it. I don’t think it changes much.

However, I am not convinced I am done with this portal maze. I mean, there is one more room at northwest, visible through some crack in wall. And there are some Taldan nobles further ahead. I don’t know if those are parts of this portal maze, or just another thing to be accessed for someone else. I hope someone has answer for this, lest this maze will seep a lot of my energy, haha.

I noticed the room too I believe you get there when you go down stairs in that room where you first meet the skull to progress through the tower, ah yeah no wonder cause i let one skull go and never saw that other one guess it was within the barrier all they do is just buff him at the end for however many escape before you kill it

How? I've defeated the Ankou in the central room, been inside the room you see through the crack, but now I am completely lost as where to go to next to get to the room with the nobles.

Read the journal you find upon entering the first portal. That should give you a hint.

Although, the way I did it was I went through the first portal, grabbed the journal, then went through the second portal. Once I was in the hallway, I went back through the portal I just came through, and it took me to a room with a Nightmare fight. After killing it, the door leading further into the dungeon was opened.

Yes but how? I found the crack, but no way to interact with it
