So, as with most games in this genre you can chose your gender (as well as handedness unlike most games) as well as your portrait (even using your own custom portrait if you wish). Unlike most games there's a decent array of body types if you don't want your character to fit "Generic fantasy figure male" or "Generic fantasy figure female." The genders presented are binary choices, but since you can choose any portrait for any gender a wide variety of nuance is available. Character creaion was not in a finished state in the beta, but skin tone, hair color and hair style did have selectors, and a wide array of hairstyle phenotypes was avaialable for humans at least.
There are same sex romances for both genders, and a bisexual polyamorous relationship. I don't know about Trans Characters because I haven't seen the whole game, but there is a beardless dwarf that makes me kinda wonder. Nothing explicit that I've seen in the beta though. As far as wokeness goes, Ekundayo (a recruitable party member) is Garundi in ethnicity (roughly equivalent to African in our wold? Though he's not actually from Africa).
And... I'm not sure I'd call it woke (since that implies an awareness of and analysis of a real life problem), but the setting of Golarion explicitly does not have prejudice based on sexual orientation, so taht seems to be mirrored pretty accurately in the game.
I sincerely hope these relationships won't be intrusive.
I am watching it, though.
DILIGENTLY.
At least the first time around... I might be more chill on a subsequent playthrough.
So necrophilia? Very progressive!
She's not romanceable. Much to the weeping of Twilight fans.
What kind of undead is she, anyways? Clearly not a vampire, since she's running around in daylight and doesn't mention the drinking of blood anywhere.
She's too pretty to be a Ghoul, or a Mummy.
So... Revenant?
Necrophilia is the sexual attraction to dead things.
As for UNdead things, that's a gray area. The jury is still out!
That's what I thought, too. But people voted Aasimar over the implementation of Dhampir.
Also, I think Dhampir are considered to be living creatures, who just share vampiric traits.
