Kalikke/Kanerah - Utility Builds?
I'm just curious how you guys tend to build the two Tiefling sisters? Given that....

SPOILER...

...early on in their companion quest you gain an item that grants the ability to switch between them at will.

Because of the above, it seems you would benefit a lot more from having one of the sisters branch off into a completely different class ASAP. Is this generally how the sisters are played? Because I can see a massive amount of potential and utility. Are there any benefits outside of roleplaying purposes to run both sisters as full elementalists?

I stick with kineticists for both sisters, and I use the blue one for healing, and the red one for damage.

I personally use the blue one for melee with the blade infusion and the red as a ranged damage dealer, both as pure kineticists

I see little reason to branch off into another class as it only drops in power and further delays the progression of their core class, not to mention the Kineticist is very non-dependant of feats

Pure class for both of them. I built Red with Fire/Earth/Water to be an AoE specialist with Deadly Earth, Cloud and Trip/Greater Trip. She can make fast work of every enemy just make sure you do not accidentally waltz into her AoE or you are toast too.

Blue I went Water /Earth/Air and again, Deadly Earth, Cloud and Trip/Greater Trip work fine with maybe a bit more healing.

But seriously, between the sheer amount of terrain control and damage they have, you shouldn't even need healing.

While the kineticist topic is up. Is kinetic knight actually any decent melee fighter? Is it worth to give Valerie some lvls of it after 6 or 7 lvls of TSS? It looks interesting, but a bit too exotic to my usual tastes, so i cannot decide if i want it or not.

I mean... On its own? Yes, as a pure energy blade can just ignore all armor bonuses except dex and dodge so damage will be constant.

The problem however starts when you compare it to the default Kineticist... When it comes to defenses the default kineticist can get the exact same values, the same blade infusions while still keeping the other ones.
And then there's the ability scores Strenght isn't exactly a good stat as they dont affect the blades aside from physical ones that go against normal AC, which again favours the dex default kineticist since it rules their DC and can also be used to hit.

Its only saving grace seems to be the ability to use CON in place of INT for feat requirements, making it suitable for combat maneuvers, and the save rerolls

I play kinetist with both, they are different arquetype.
I take Earth element and deadly Earth. Earth ignores spell resistance.
And the ability of wall, I use before triggering combat and it's a free hit for every melee foes.
I take after air with red and fire with blue.
