They can also amke good sage sorcerers since those use intelligence instead of charisma.
I have recently build a vivisectionist elf archer to fill a few roles at once and she is amazing. Archer, buffer, rogue, damage dealers, skill monkey... improve invisibility + transformation + Mirror bow(2x sneak attack) is very good.
Do you remember anything cool about Aragorn?
Didn't think so, because Rangers SUCK!
Legolas was a Fighter with a bow; yes those exist!
You can get 3 levels Rogue in order to use Dex instead of Str for damage with the Curve Blade.
(I know the descriptions say you can't, but you can.)
Curve blade has widest crit range of any 2hand weapon, so it is good for outflank/seize the moment teamwork feats and crit effect feats.
I don't think you will find agile versions though.
2hand weapons are bad damage compared to 2 weapon fighting though...
Don't know if this is a joke, but rangers in this game are much better than fighters...
Elf is good for the same classes +dex +int tiefling is.
Tiefling doesn't get it's con dumped on which is nice, elf gets some useful weapon proficiencies and spell penetration.
(I prefer tiefling, but both work for dex/int classes, of which there are many in this game. If you are only using the Int bonus to get more skill points then you are better off rolling a human.)
