They need to consolidate weapon types
there's far too many that are pointless, and have only like a couple variations that are far and few between. Especially when specializing towards a specific weapon type has leaps and bounds more benefits. RIP to anyone who chose super rare weapon types such as Sai's.

Hey, at least I've seen a magic sai once. Nunchuks, however...

The only time I have ever found Star Knives was in the Verdant Chambers. They weren't even magical, just regular Star Knives!

And I have yet to see ANY nunchuks, despite people claiming they're in the game.

I did stumble upon one (non-magical, of course)... in the goblin camp, I think? I honestly can't quite remember. What I DO remember, however, is having my mind blown by the fact that it was a weapon type in this game.

I saw Oleg selling a +1 starknife (iirc). He also sells a +1 two-bladed sword, which I think is the only one in the game.

Well, that's probably a liscencing issue. This is a pathfinder game made using an adaption of the pathfinder ruleset. A lot of these weapons are kind of needed to be present. Why things like starknives? Well, that's Desna(the goddess of travel)'s holy weapon. You could not include them, but then inquisitors and clerics of Desna miss out. She's a pretty important deity in the setting, so you kind of need to include her, and starknives come with her. Double-swords are the mainstay of double-weapon styles, and kukri are the martial staple of rogues. I don't see how the devs would be able to consolidate within the liscence, and modifiing the effects of the weapons present in terms of base damage, crit threat, or properties is probably also totally out of the question.

Twin Crystals is a two bladed sword dropped by the Ancient Curse after the 7th time you visit Bald Hilltop.

Have somebody in the party who can cast Freedom of Movement on everybody...

Zon-Kuthon's sacred weapon is the Spiked Chain, but they changed it to Flail in this game.

Op, I feel your pain. I played tabletop D&D and I still can't keep tracl of monster types for Ranger enemy types. 'Is that troll a giant humanoid or a monsterous humanoid?'

I know Ogres are supposed to be Giants, and are the very bottom rung of "the Ordining" in Giant society. Not sure about Trolls, though.

Since Ekundayo's racial enemy is Giant Humanoids, I would assume Trolls are counted among them?

Correct. Ogres and trolls count as giants.
