I think the closest you're going to get to the pathfinder archetype is the Two Handed Fighter.
Magus has too much magic stuff going on.
I was talking about the Pathfinder Fighter Archetype which from what i can tell was similer to the weapon master prestige class in 3.0/3.5. Im not that familer with pathfinder other then its suppose to be 3.75 d&d according to some friends. Kensai does seem similer after reading some so guess ill give that a try.
Thanks for the answers
Weapon Master actually very different from 3.5. It's not a prestige class, as you know.

Instead of giving you an increased critical threat range, it's more about doing more damage with a chosen weapon. Pathfinder doesn't really like Martials all that much when it comes to making them absolutely crazy.
But the Sword Saint Magus variant is probably closer to what you want, since that fighter feature is so late in the game.
The Kensai (also known as Sword Saint) was also an archetype choice for Fighter in Baldur's Gate 2.
Bonuses to attack and damage with a specific weapon <- core fighter ability
Wear medium & heavy armour without penalty <- core fighter ability
Increase crit multiplier, and auto confirm crits <- capstone fighter ability
No spell casting <- fighter
I'm not seeing any light armor, adding int to anything, and I'm seeing access to fighter only feats which Sword Saint doesn't get.
Core fighter is objectively as close to Weapon Master as you're going to get in Pathfinder, unless there is a Fighter archetype that I don't know of that makes it even closer.
Mastering a weapon is at the core of weapon master and sword saint (with is slightly different from P&P kensai by the way). Sure, figther gets the crit multiplier at level 20, but Sword Saint gets it at level 4 (for a arcane pool cost, also at lvl 20 for free). Sword Saint counts as fighter at his level-3 for feats. Sword Saint can expend arcane pool to improve his weapon (lvl5 add keen or flaming or just enhancement). Crit confirm +int at lvl 9.
In short, Sword Saint Magus gets the crithunting effects of Weapon Master far earlier than the core fighter who gets that at lvl 20, imo. So despite the differences (light armor, spells) i think its still a good enough fit to recommend...
Thanks for saying it for me. ;)
