Body Types Available?
Okay, so I've noticed the CHARACTER CREATION process includes "body types."

Sadly, there's not a whole lot of info on them right now, because it's still a beta and most of the races only have 1 body type available. I'm assuming this will be changed at launch.

Anyways, I'm curious as to what kind of body types we'll be able to pick from. Like, for example... could I have a fat character?

This has nothing to do with being "woke" or something stupid like that. I just think it would be funny and original to have the hero of the story be some fat, ugly Half Orc, rather than a majestic, perfectly sculpted Elf.

^__^

Fat acceptence is a must. We must be fat positive. Please do not include penalties to the stats of fat characters since that is not realistic.

Those ridiculous triangle body types would be a funny edition. Something to generate an episode of Monster Factory. :pixlotbleeding:

I'm assuming by "triangle" you mean they skipped leg day?

Or skipped torso day. But this is just a joke. These always look ridiculous.

Still no word on those body types. :(

Can anybody share some insight into what the different Aasimar variants look like?

Outwardly, Aasimar are indistinguishable from humans and have the same set of hairstyles, skin colors and faces as their more purebred brethren, but the set of available abilities is strikingly different. All Aasimar have a higher resistance to diseases and poisons, and are able to permanently use a glowing halo on the back of the head, which increases resistance to certain influences on the mind and, although this is not directly mentioned, significantly facilitates movement through dark dungeons.

And this is why I've always viewed Aasimar as a kind of "meh..." race when compared to the more immediately distinguishable Tieflings. :(
