How do you beat tartuk and hargul?
Tar takes no damage and if you focus har he does op amout of damage, like come on my fighter has like 35 ac, really with constant hits.

I'm not going to lie. There has only been 2 times I timed the difficulty lvl down since I started playing and that fight was one of them. I tried webbing har to keep him out of the fight but his saves were too high. I tried facinating with Linsy which almost worked but once I started wailing on him he just pulverized me. My tank had the same as as yours. Sorry I can't be of more help but all I'm saying is don't be afraid to turn down the difficulty. You can always turn it back up after the fight.

Good luck

Troll and Kobald Sorcerer right? Buff up (haste mainly), paralyze the troll and instakill the kobald. If he survives more than 1 full round of your entire party wailing on him you suck and party building.

I chose evil option and troll killed kobold. Killing solo troll king on hard was pretty easy. Displacement on tank solves pretty much everything, and of course high enough attack rolls. My amiri and Ekun constatly hit him so i was able to kill him twice with no problems.

He never able to even hit me.

Pre-buff, haste, engage with aoe. Then charge and kill Tartuk before he able to cast anything. Then one-shot Harrulka.

Ekkun with acid bow, under hurricane bow & heroism & haste & enlarge person & + rest buffs plus Amiri (same, but with trollbane) able to kill him in a round or two. Even with vanila mono-class builds.

A bit more problems for Challenging+, but there you shouldn't use mono-builds :)

Animate Dead, Summon Monster 2

The right companions

A lot of buffs

Kill the troll first

Cast laughing spell on troll king to CC ---> Troll out of the fight

Focus Tartuk -->he die in like 2 shot

Try to finish the troll before he wake up

Troll wake up at 1% life and Os kill regondar

Guess i was lucky :D

What is tartuks ac anyway, reloaded several times but i haven't hit him once, kinda annoying with all the buffs. is it like 35 or something?
Maitrepof Nov 1, 2018 @ 5:15am
You can check what his ac is in the combat log when somone try to hit him and also check what bonus give him that ac. It's really usefull as most high ac can be lowered

He's love to use Mirror Images too. So it's important to deal with him ASAP, while Harulka is mostly not dangerous to your party.

Troll king has very low will saves.Just use Hideous Laughter. It trivializes any troll encounter.Or any other will cc(except hold spell-troll king has permanent freedom of movement from his weapon).Without his bodyguard all Tartuk can do is to spam magic msl.

1) Control
2) Biggest problem is haste. You could counter it with slow.
FeurinLongcastle Nov 1, 2018 @ 6:41am
1) Cast Dispel Magic/Slow (twice) on Harulka
2) Cast Hideous Laughter on Harulka
3) Cast Shield on everyone who has it (Tartuk loves Magic Missile)
4) Pre-cast Haste on party and focus Harulka

He's pretty easy with that setup.

That fight is a dps fight. Take all your fastest damage dealers and focus on Har. Like someone else said earlier, if you are the proper level and built your party well you should be able to drop Har before he rages and starts one shotting everyone.

Hold person or hideous laughter Tartuk so he cant buff the troll

I just came back 2 levels later. The fight was a lot better then.
