So it is probably worth it in any encounter that requires some manual input anyways.
For some people, micro management isn't hard. Some of us are good at games with a lot of micro like RTSs.
If that's the case that's a bug : it contradict the in game description of the feat but if iirc, you had a latency that prevented stacking the different buff from linzi.
I am talking about different types of performances, one gives + att and + dmg, one gives +AV + saves one gives temp hp, you can basically get all of these effects going simultaneously.
Of course, the performances do not stack with themselves, that would be completely bonkers.
@grasida: King of Pitax, you will meet him eventually as part of the main quest, the armor reduces the time needed to activate a bardic performance.
Probably still not gonna abuse that. The biggest thing is not stacking positive songs, but using both party and doom songs.
^^^
Just so we're clear, this is the level when Wizards can Reverse Gravity, Mass Invisibility, Finger of Death, etc. And Clerics can Heal (and have been for 2 levels), Regenerate, Resurrect, Destruction, etc.
It takes bards 3 combat rounds to get all of the buffs going, and they're just some +hit/+dmg, temp hitpoints, and maybe shaken on enemies. There are FAR more powerful buffs and abilities at the level we're talking about here.
There is a good reason why this is impossible in PnP, the bardic performance buffs are by far the most powerful party buffs in the game. On level 13 inspire courage gives your whole parts +3 to attack +3 to damage rolls and +3 to saves against fear, I would like to see the far more powerful buff you are talking about because I would love to get my hands on that. (Especially a buff that the bard can not yet cast on that level themselves)
At Paladin 11; Aura of Justice. +Cha to attack, +Level to dmg, ignore DR
At Wizard 7; Enlarge Person, Mass + 3x Heroism. +2attack, +a bunch to damage, +2 to all saves (not just fear), Reach. with 7 mins on the Enlarge, and 70 on the Heroism. (Could do Wizard 9 for Extended Enlarge, Mass)
I'm not getting into a pissing contest about which is the best buff, they're all good. Just stating the mathematical fact that there are equally potent or better buffs at that level and below. And, Bard Song is, what, maybe 30 rounds (3 minutes) at that point? It's a good feat combination, but by no means OP
