There are probably several ways to beat him and his remaining forces in the final showdown but the way I did it was:
I moved Linzi and Amiri over the the right, Amiri standing just at the top of the stairs to his platform. I opened with Octavia hitting the Stag Lord's adds with Web. Then Linzi hit Stag Lord with Hilarious Laughter whilst Amiri rushed round the corner and charged him. Linzi had a bout a 35% chance to land the Hilarious Laughter and I got it second attempt. Amiri got one hit in, a second AoO as SL was trying the get up, and then a third before SL was back in operation. Except he wan't becasue he was dead. Well he whined for his life first actually, but Amri was having none of it and issued the coup de grace. Amiri and Linzi then rejoined the other and helped out polishing off the remaining adds stuck in the web.
This, coupled with advice provided by Marcos_DS really tip the balance in your favor. Poison wine option (perception check, I think) is found at the bandit camp where Jhod is being held.
Get some and clear the outer bands!
Most times... i roll on a nill rested party and poison wine, get his 2nd, and get the owlbear to help and its still easy without summons.
Send the tank in and slap the bejeezus out of the "Lord". The owlbear was brilliant, almost strolling towards the supports of the Lord first and biting their heads off. :) Poisioning seems to roughly cut his hp by half and give him a nasty to hit debuff. Did not hit my tank once @ AC 31. Without poison, he hit him 2 or 3 times for a nice bit of damage.
"I should think up of ways to make the fight go in my favor"
To clue in people to make sure to search for ways to hinder stag lord.
Also, a reach weapon and enlarge will make you able to hit the stag lord in melee without having to go all the way around and up the ramp, you can wail on him from right in front. Maybe even just one or the other but I always do both.
