Is there any reason not to take Dodge Feat?

As far as I can tell, the Dodge feat has no downsides. It stacks with every other type of dodge enhancement in the game. Is +1 AC worth sacrificing a feat when it comes to mid-late game?

for tank, sure. Any other character has no reason to take it. For tanks it's also pre-req for some feats or stalwart defender. And stalwart defender is very good prestige, even with 1 level in it.

The only downside is that you can't take another feat in its place, and +1 AC really isn't all that valuable in the grand scheme of things.

i would never take dodge as a caster... so yea not everyone is gonna take it.
