Sorcerer can pump out more summons during a day than any other class, but are stuck with his spell choices over the course of the game. This means that you'll have to consider when you need to upgrade your summon spell. Simply picking them all is probably a bad investment, but your milage may vary. Through Bloodlines, you can boost your summons, similar to the Inquisitor, but your choice in this is made for you, unlike the Inquisitor who get to pick what he wants his summons to be good at.
Wizard is probably the most versatile; He doesn't have to consider the opportunity cost of picking up new spells. His summons don't get any special abilities (AFAIK).
Druid is also very versatile, but AFAIK he is limited to summoning animals, fey and elementals, not demons/angels and that stuff. Druid don't have consider wether he needs a summonspell today, he gets them all and can spontaneously convert spells into summons.
You get both summoning feats; augment summons and superior summons as bonus feats. (lvl 4 and 8)
And just like a druid, you can convert spells in summon spells.
Clerics are also the best healers in the game, so you can use channel healing to keep your pets up longer.
The right domains like glory, will allow you to buff your pets. Or go Animal domain for an extra animal companion to protect you.
