Tristian?
So... hes a cleric who behind a level of my party ( after training project ), cant wear ANY armor, using melee weapon, cant use non-divine domain spells in regular slots... what should i do with him? Aside obvious stay aside and cast? Should i pick him some armor training or smth? ( Hard )

Yea i guess, hes kinda usefull. Though his MOST usefull blessing of faithfull ( sacred +2 attack is a unique bonus ) and blessed weapon require interraction in melee... Since blessing of faithfull only 12 second on 4 level, prebuff it early is kinda waste.

you will get outfits he can don later on. He's often my last man standing, along with another "squishy" ;)

i also dont understand, blessed weapon doesnt count as divine? I cant put it in regular level 2 slots.

Magical Robes etc, basically armor items which do not require a character to have a certain armor proficiency to wear.
Items like that very rarely offer AC but often other usefull effects like "Increase the save DC for your spells by X" or "Grants an enhancment bonus of Y to Intelligence"....stuff like that

is his class really work as intented? I mean not being able to wear an armor is a huge penalty for clerics, he trades this to have access to some non-divine spells ( SOME ) and he can't put them in regular slots. So 1 unique spell per leveled slots for crazy penalties? Seems like crappy class to me overall. Also cant put more than one blessed weapon in second level slots, shouldnt it be divine?

You also will get all sorts of magic bracers that take the place of armor. Like right now Tristian's bracers give him more AC than half my characters' armor gives them AC.

clerics also should be able to wear shields. i just included them into "armor" category by defalult. Yea bracers is a solution, but his class still seems peculiar.

Its his class, he gets more spells and is a clear cut caster but unlike other clerics he cannot get armor. So he kinda becomes a powerful support/healer but he needs protection.

yeah the no armor definetly hurts but you really don't want your clerics on the front line, that being said he is set up to be amazing at healing. So just throw him in the back and let him buff and heal. As far as the losing a level. Go to guides and look in the mod section and there is a really easy way(will take less than 5 mins) to get him (or any of your mecenaries) up to the same level as your other people.

Bless Weapon is a Paladin only spell. Tristian gets it from his domain, so it can only be prepared in the domain slot.

no. Ill play by the game rules, if he's supposed to be level behind because i chose to go to syncamore first so be it. About the melee situation, as i said i'd like to use blessing of faithfull ( +2 sacred attack bonus is super strong ) which require moving in melee, and using it before battle isnt a best option.
