Author Wanted Quest

Anyone has any lead to proceed in this quest? I have taken it from Shaynih'a in my village of South Narl. So far I couldn't find any hint, visited both Linzi and Jubilost but they have no dialogue options for this.

Just bring them with you when you visit her and the quest will proceed. Atleast that's what it did for me all the times i did it.

This quest seems bugged for me, first time i've talked to Shaynih'a she talked to Linzi in my party but no quest even appeared.
On a second visit, she just said something to the effect of wanting my help, but there are no new follow up options everything is greyed out already, i get 180xp; and the quest log get a new quest "thousand and one stories", but it's only step (talk to her) is already ticked with no further steps, but quest is not completed.
And there are now no further new interations with her either.

Did you build and allow time for her shop to complete?

She eventually brought an item to my throne room and then mentioned I should visit. That moved the quest forward for me.

There is no option to build her shop even

So, I built the printing place in my capital..... Since I cant bring companions around in my capital, does that mean I screwed myself over for this quest?

Bring either Linzy or Jubilost. They're both writers and can satisfy the quest. :-)

If this is in response to me, the point is that I CANT bring them because you go around solo in your capital

You don't bring them to the print house; you bring them to see Shaynih'a in your South Narlmarches village. (This will be true of most of your artisans; you visit them in their home town to continue their quests.)

Quick way to tell the difference:

- Approach the NPC just after sunset.

- Strike up a conversation.

- If she is still talking by the following sunrise, it's Shaynih'a.
