My kingdom gets destroyed because I decided to rest and recover from 5 people on the team having bloody injuries, rather than travel to the Womb of Lamashtu.

It didn't help that the instructions for finding the damn thing were vague as hell.

Which river!? I looked up and down these things and couldn't find it!

Considering I saved right before resting, that means I don't have enough time to go back and try finding the cave. I ran out of time, so I had no choice but to delete my character profile and start over from the beginning.

This time, I'm not going to do a religious class like the Inquisitor. In all the time I spent playing the game already, my priests never approached me about instating a barony wide religion, which was the entire reason I picked Inquisitor in the first place.

I'm thinking of giving Sorcerer a try, now. Since none of the normal companions are dedicated spell casters.

I don't know about timers, but quests certainly need some clarifications. While I got that weird luck and stumbled upon river quest giver before actually seeing any dreams, I wasn't so lucky with chasing evil gnome. I chose wrong option, stumbled upon cobolds and defeated them. And then I had nothing to do. Quest log was saying that I lost him, and need to wait, but actually I just needed to explore newly appeared area. Which was hard to distinquish from explored ones.

I think I have a weird softlock in my current campaign that might force a restart as well, since I'm completely unable to locate the Goblin Fort for the Mother of Monsters quest despite knowing where it should be based on guides, but the location never reveals itself, and apparently I chose to do the incorrect sequence of events at the Lonely Mill storybook location, so I didn't get the location from there either. Spent a few hours running around hoping to get the Goblin Ambush random encounter that supposedly has a clue that leads to it, but no luck.

How nice for you. But my game seems to be experiencing a persistant glitch where it randomly deletes or removes additional save files when switching between or creating new character profiles.

I think it may have something to do with the amount of auto-saves the game is set for (3 right now). Apparently the auto save limit means "in total" and not "individually" between characters.


But this also extends to manual saves. Because I kept 2 of those on hand. One of which was named "back up -name-" and they keep vanishing, too.

It's not a puzzle, gods damn it! It's got nothing to do with difficulty, or challenge rating, or enemy stat inflation, or anythinng else that countless people have been complaining about on the forums.

It's the gods, damn, TIME LIMIT, and the lack of clarified information the game provided me for completing it. I checked all the rivers. Believe me, I was 31 hours into the game, and I had plenty of time to map this ♥♥♥♥ out. Womb of Lamashtu never showed up. So I ran out of time, my save files were useless, due to being too close to the deadline, and I saved RIGHT BEFORE I RESTED.

I couldn't go back in time and fix the problem! Please stop suggesting I could have loaded up a previous save, I'm tired of explaining this problem over and over again!

Where the hell is the location for the nightmare anyways? I've gone back and forth, down and up, everwhere. I can't find the damn location! I read on forums it's nettle's crossing. I see no nettle's crossing anymore near the river. Can someone point out the location for me?

Nettles Crossing should be along the river, southeast of Olegs. Though I thought the nightmare gave you the map location.

Ah yep, you're right. I saw Shrike River on the very bottom right of the map. I was traveling and looking there. Silly me.

I make several saves.
Every Week or so I make a Campaign Save.
During the week I make two or three individual saves.

But I agree. Some of the quests are not written well in the Journal.

The amount of auto saves you're allowed to have means IN TOTAL, and not per character.

I have other character slots, so playing on them caused the auto saves to be overwritten from my main playthrough.
