30 hours into the game, still can't find Sling or Dart

Wonder if I missed some trader (Boken died), but even in my barony I can't find a sling for druid to use. Concidering every trader features adamantite full plate and exotic elvish estocs of doom in masse as if they are all some insane weapon collectors, asking for a simple sling shouldn't be much of a trouble.

Druids don't have any damage type cantrips, they're "clerics".

I've found two robes.

Robes there are a lot in the game starting Act III-IV or so.

Mithral, there is breastplate +2 and Full Plate +2 I believe, the second one is crafted only.

There is a SLing Staff at Olegs. I am not sure if it functions same as normal sling or has any class/race restrictions. Probably not what your looking for.

Everyone knows about sling staffs. They're Exotic weapons, not Simple.

Umm... They have all their orisons for ranged... which do more damage and hit with a Touch AC... I don't know why a druid would ever want to use a sling or dart unless they go up the feat chain for them... and that feat chain isn't in game. Plus there are so many other and better feats for druids to work with.

Once you can wild-shape, you shouldn't be doing much ranged anyways, if ever.

Last I checked, druid orisons don't have damage options. And, if the wildshape works like in tabletop, it's best used only if the druid is built for melee combat already. The other uses for it (stealth, travel, etc.) aren't in the game.

I can't remember which merchant it was, but somebody was selling a "sling staff."

Which after taking a look at it, I immediately thought of One Piece!

Slings are in the game. No idea where I found it, but I sold them to Harruf.

I found two good robes thus far. One is the robe of the master (has AC +5, SR 18, +4 stats) and the other the robe of the dark acolyth (+4 caster stats).
The only slings I saw were staff slings, which are exotic weapons. The only druid armor I saw is the darkwood aegis, sometimes during act 1. There is a +4 adamant chain shirt, but I think that is not for treehuggers either :)

The dwarven armorsmith you can recruit to your kingdom can craft dragonscale fullplate which druids can wear no problem provided they have the heavy armor proficiency.

They are allowed to use any weapon in Pathfinder afaik, they just don't start with a proficiency in any bows nor crossbows. They can't use metal armor though.

Sling staff is a halfling racial weapon.
