Basard swords is usually a 2 handed weapon. You can take an exotic weapon proficancy to make it one-handed.
Increasing the size category of a weapon increased the handed-ness of the weapon.
So, Amiri's sword is just a bastard sword with +1 size.
In the pen and paper, you can do this with Katanas or Dwarven Waraxes as well, among others.
What's the feat? Because if it also exists in D&D, I'm not familiar with it.
Exotic Weapon Proficancy: WeaponName
It just works with certain types if weapons.
3.5 D&D had Monkey Grip so you could technically do it for all wrapons, but paizo took that out.
Isn't that what the Tower Shield Specialist is, though?
Honestly, it's probably a terrible archetype, but I always loved the idea... and I may have played that in Dark Souls before I got gud :P
