He's the lizard that meets you outside the village. In fact, I believe he outright introduces himself as such when you try talking to him.
Also, I think there is supposed to be a workaround with tribe's shaman. But in this way spirit will always kill Tig with lightning bolt.
Didn't tried evil option with chief, though. Maybe it will work.
your first paragraph contradicts the last one. If there is an evil option with the chief, then you are not required to make good choices.
Perhaps you didn't know that the evil option exists before reading the other person's post (I certainly didn't) but just because we don't know that the option isn't there, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Not really? Why should an evil character give a crap about saving a kid who was stupid enough to go wandering around in the swamp? Who the hell is his mother that she has the gall to petition the baron himself to go trudging across the Stolen Lands in search of her child, anyways? That is why we have a town guard!
I couldn't get the kid to live after about 5 retries, and I couldn't be bothered with all the suggestions of going back to the witch, and then the mother (at the capital!) and then back again, so I just made sure to chat to all the named lizards in the village and hey presto! the little squibb gets back up after the lightning strike!
go figure!
This... I didn't realize that either. I saw it in the bugs section but figured it was just a bug that didn't happen to me.
There are several ways to make sure the kid survives. Evil option, Good option, have the shaman help you, help yourself by having glitterdust on hand, help the villagers feel less fear, etc.
They all seemed pretty straightforward to me and the kid has survived every time I've done it.
