Sword saint is the Magus Archetype Kensai, which translates to sword saint by the way Offensive.
Rogue 3 or 4 your choice. 4 gets debilitating strike which would help lower AC, but you delay spell casting further. Make sure you choose a 1 handed weapon for your finesse training.
It might be Kensai from their set, but it's pretty obvious weapon master from basic d&d games, no? Well aside from the fact it got arcane powers of some degree. Im not saying it's bad or smth, just weird for me.
Wow a whopping -4 AC.
If you're like me though, a more fitting build would be 2 fighter / 8 eldritch scoundrel / 10 eldritch knight. Eldritch scoundrel is a rogue archetype which gets arcane spell casting. What I did was start as a fighter with 10 str and 17 + 2 (human) dex, with elven curve blade 2 hander (finessable). Take level 2 as the eldritch scoundrel and get weapon finesse, which makes your chance to hit based on dex rather than str. 2 more levels in eldritch scoundrel and you get finesse weapon which makes your damage based on dex as well. Put your bonus stat points as you level up in dex and int (start with 14 int and aim for 16 for 6th level spellcasting ability).
It's arguably weak for the first 4 levels, but doable. At level 9, I frequently crit for 45+ damage, and I can't be hit due to shield (spell), mirror image, and displacement. The elven curve blade is really the best way to play a rogue caster without casting penalty, besides playing a magus. I have not gotten to level 11 yet though, so I'm not sure how well the 10 levels of eldritch knight prestige will work out. A lot of pathfinders think its a weak prestige. However, this build will allow you to continue getting arcane casting levels (up to tier 6 spells at level 20) and get enough feats to take things like arcane armor, accomplished sneak attacker, precise strike, arcane strike, combat casting, etc, for insane damage, all the while being a sick off-tank due to buffs.
mhh maybe im trying this, are there some good curved elven blades in the game? only got the standard one so far
Best I've found so far is a +1 keen. Here's hoping there are better ones. Even with that, I outdamage Amiri though with much better tankiness and versatility.
