I can certainly agree with that. Especially since as a Fighter they may be looking to make a name for themselves either as a Warlord or to fulfill their ambition. About the only one that I can't see making much sense to the story is the Aldori Defender. . .mainly because of how equally Jamandi suspects you when compared to Tartuccio.
Ya lol, but all the other 3 styles are stereotypical as can be
Plus, the Stolen Lands are practically overrun with Fey creatures. It only seems reasonable that the monarch of the land might carry a trace of Fey blood in their ancestry. :)
Fighter definitely makes the most sense.
We are against 1 curse fae and her minions. Your kingdom is full of fae, many friendly, you gain in story a connection with the fae world that actually gives you abilities. And the golden ending has you build a faerie kingdom so yes a connection to the fae makes perfect sense
I usually kill fey on sight. Im sure I screw myself here and there in doing so lol. Still worth it
Who fits that...
well, what classes need cha, wis, many skills? What races boost social skills and are likable?
bard comes to mind right away.
if you don't care about actual RP factor, a schmoozer is all you need ... skill focus persuasion, high cha, all the +persuasion feats, inquisitor (level add), etc.
Practical standpoint, be aware that you need to be able to solo a few quests. Here again inquisitor comes out, healing/summons/generally OK at dealing with that, could know trickery and perception and other survival skills.
But inquisitors are zealots and wold not really make good kings, unless for a willing theocracy.
What abilities would those be? I've only done a successful playthrough once (lawful evil), and I don't recall getting any kind of Fey inspired power up. I tried asking for the reward from the end Jubilost's companion quest, but they wouldn't let me have it!
