Steam's removing lewd games, guys

I wasn't sure if it was just a bad taste publicity stunt by Huniepop but some other devs have confirmed it. It also seems to be so far specifically targetting anime lewd games. Space Waifu guys, keep us posted if you get anything from them will ya? I will light those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UP if they even look at you funny. ¬_¬

What will happen if you try to play a game that has been removed from Steam due to censorship? Will you get banned for it?

i think steam will just maintain the games that you buy on your account, but we don't know if the game will need to be heavily altered after that. Right now steam do not talk with any dev about nothing. waiting..

If they remove it for sale, can you leave it as it is before this all happened, or even update for those that currently own it?

that i can confirm, i have the slaughting grounds (i got sent it as a gift as a cruel prank >:I ) and i am still able to access that game before the developer was taken down. so if you have the game already, then your good.

Yeh, I heard on twitter. :3 Still, it shouldn't have come to this in the first place rawr. They'll have to make changes to make it VERY CLEAR what's acceptable and what isn't, and also to their report systems. It's fairly obvious that most of the mails sent were automated due to a mass flagging campaign, so there needs to be ♥♥♥♥ to stop that ever happening again.

Yer a bit late. xD I don't get the issue with Hatred myself, apart from all the dumb publicity it's really nothing else except Discount Postal.

As for that group of nutters, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a bunch of bored 4ch*ntards just posing or something who mass flagged all the anime ♥♥♥♥ they could find and let Steam's autosystems send out all the emails and stuff.

Just one hour ago steam send a response that they are revising the whole decision and the warnings to all the games and that this will be done with more dialogue.

We are just waching deadpool 2 before this great news, sorry for the delay! =)

I already have both Deep Space Waifu games but I'd like to stick it to Valve and buy them off-site, is it possible for you to release it on Nutaku, MangaGamer, dlsite, itch.io, GOG, etc.?
