ABOUT Cut-Content Police

Informing you about censored games.

This group was made to help people find out whether a game has been censored, had content removed prior to being sold on steam or feature now unobtainable content such as dlc which was in a prior version.

Things I won't put on here are games still in developement, or games where EVERY version has the same cut content such as Metal Gear Solid V, and the Third Act which was removed due to time. I did however put MGSV on the list for censoring the NA pc version and not the NA console versions.

Recent cryptocurrency bans on youtube
From all the other censorship drama things happening, this one is one I say to keep my eyes on.

This is a weird and oddly bold move, all these videos are simply video's explaining cyrptocurrency or the market. They are nothing but just informative videos so why is youtube cracking down on them? Do they just break the rules regarding currency? Well, the rules vague as they are still dont really list any of these as reasons for the "harmful content" takedowns.

One theory that quartering brought up, is that is because cryptocurrency can't be controlled by big corporations, this means that credit card, paypal, apple pay, and even google play can't control it, and videos explaining it and linking to it is linking to things google cannot control and so they want to purge it.

It's so bad, that lbry itself set up a page above in the first link to help those purged get a lbry community set up.

Why post this here? well, this isn't just about a crypto censorship on a platform, I feel things like LBRY, bitchute, DLIVE and cryptocurrency are going to be instrumental in fighting censorship and having a place not controlled by companies and payment processors.

As it stands, if you wanted to record gameplay of a game and somehow survive it not being claimed or blocked worldwide due to music or video matches and demonetization from lewd material or doing anything youtube does not like, it's still not safe because future rules can retroactively get banned or striked. Provided you dont upload it to a porn website:carol: there isn't many places to go... well there is actually, LBRY is one of them that i use. Like bitchute lbry has a youtube syncing feature to bring your channel over (right now only videos under 2 hours and i think its at 720p but content uploaded to lbry is a 1:1 no processing thing.

Its essentially an AS IS, including ability to upload about anything including text files and comic files. I could go on and on about how you should make sure to pay attention to this and all that, which I know gets thrown out so much everyone is numb to it, so ill just say if your curious, give lbry and other platforms a check if nothing else to see what all the hubbub is about.

Ill end with some links to more info on lbry if you want to know the technical details as well as a very very shameless:cozybethesda: link to my lbry channel.

UPDATE: some people have had luck getting the strikes revoked https://twitter.com/AlexSaundersAU/status/1210364020600918016 it seems people werent as dumb as youtube thought they were and knew this was a bad call, even though they tried to do this during the holiday to avoid the least outcry amid the festivities.

Even more recently got their videos back https://twitter.com/TheCryptoLark/status/1210295904625840128
Apparently lots of large youtubers inciting everyone to jump shark wasnt what they had planned, all they did was give crypto a big public boost.

yeah and even more got it back https://twitter.com/crypt0snews/status/1210292462310215680 seems they did a mass banning that had merit and got caught.Though it could be just temporary as im sure youtube will roll out rules that retroactively ban youtubers from talking about crypto and this is just testing the waters.

The individual Valve employees have too much personal discretion, and their policies are too open ended for interpretation. So what is OK for one employee of Valve is not for another.

There is a patch out for G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String on Denpasoft now for $4.99 USD:

You should update your curation for it since you hadn't listed a patch for it yet.

They were gonna release the patch on Steam as well, but Steam denied it because Steam loves being inconsistent.
