Hunger vs. life or death - hunger shouldn't win
I was in the National Park when I got attacked by a zombie. I started firing my gun at it, but at that exact instant the game decided I was so hungry I wasn't allowed to operate the gun any more. It demanded I eat right then. Seriously??? Notwithstanding that I didn't have any food.

If I'm currently in a battle, you should block any immediate demands for food/water. Thanks. Also, as others suggested, the game seems to demand the character eat/drink too often. Maybe cut water demands by 50% and food by 75%? People IRL can survive for many days without food.

honestly this sums up my very few gripes with the game really well. everything else is really well done. the art, the music, the story, the environments, the exploration aspect

but the food/water meters going down so quickly makes it unreasonably hard. so much so that after a while it can deter me from playing because of how stressful it can be, even though i would really want to give it a shot

Thanks! We are constantly working on balancing the game, with that said we did try to balance this particular demo to be on the more diffuclt side.

They should add an adrenaline bar that fill or something during battle/encounters and during that time negates most bad status.

better to start on the harder scale then the weaker one, its smart cause a lot less people will cry over it. That being said, not co-op. Will skip. GL with the game and its crocodile tears appeal!

There's a hunger gauge? Yikes!
Thanks for the time-saving info.

Don't believe your critics too much though! Pathologic 2 has a hunger meter that depletes very quickly but it works well for the game. It doesn't need to be realistic if it accomplishes your design intent. I like games that don't treat me with kid gloves.

Thanks for the feedback! The team is doing their best to find a really good middle ground between depleting too fast and not being too slow!
