na, you just disable the Steam Cloud. Then when you turn it back on, it will ask witch saves you want, and you just pick the newer ones you are on.
They changed that? I tried to reset some progress on another game a while back and it was a major headache. Never had any pop-ups, didn't find an option to use local saves only... I even followed instructions on how to delete cloud saves and that was of no use.
I want to do the same thing and I'm having trouble finding any information on how to wipe the data and start right from scratch.
Not trying at all to be confrontational but I'm curious: Why do you all want to start from scratch?
My personal reasoning was to see how fast I could do everything from scratch.
To reset to a zero starting point navigate to your save file location. For me it was:
Documents/My Games/Final Fantasy XV/Steam/76561198385340101/savestorage/multiplayer/gameplay/slot0
Delete the file and you should be good to go restart Comrades
