Regalia speed slow using Xbox One Controller?
Just starting playing this on PC using my Xbox One Controller with the wireless adapter. But I just got to the scene where they get the car back out of the garage in hammerhead and you get to drive it manually, but when I push the right trigger for the accelerator, the regalia goes literally at a snails pace.

I have my drivers installed on my controller and everything else is working when playing, but just not when it comes to accelerating the car. Anyone else had this problem?

Nobody?

Isn't that normal?

The best answer I can give you is to try the trigger with another game, preferably a game that utilise the trigger function like a racing game.
I am using the same controller and don't have any problem.

What, going slower than dirt? No it's not. I've played the PS4 version and this isn't normal.

yes this is normal lol accelerating is super slow.

Hahaha! Elite controller right? You have the hair trigger switch on at the bottom of the controller. The green switch. It should be set to the long double-thingy to enable full axis range. The single-thingy caps the axis range to 75% for faster shooting in FPS games.

Nope it's just a regular Xbox One wireless controller. It just seems like when I press either the left or right trigger, the Regalia goes extremely slow and never accelerates beyond crawl speed.

Lol, that sounds exactly like the issue I had. Have you enabled Xbox Controller Support in Steam - View - Settings - Controller - General Controller Settings? If so, disable it, disconnect the controller, then reconnect it and try again. Steam’s wrapper might be limiting the controller’s axis range.

If you’re on Windows 10 I recommend checking out the Game Controller Tester app (or something like that) to show exactly what signal gets sent when you have the trigger at the bottom. For me it said 75% which caused the issue.

Hmm, I downloaded it, but it doesn't show my connected controller.

The Steam Overlay controller settings did this to me in another game (Rocket League) so def. check those.

i use an xbox one win10 controller, dont have any issues here.

and we cant see what you mean by "Slow" so for all we know it could be the normal speed but you think its slower than it should be.

the car DOES start out a little slow at first

and being as it does not have a variable speed its probably as fast as it can go.

make sure the gas is full also

Have you checked the Steam controller settings I mentioned? Sounds like it might be blocking your controller.

With what i said, heres a thought.

Test the speed with your controller
Test the speed with the Keyboard

if they are the same speed, you have your answer
