Also they dont really have feminism in japan, their view on certain things are much different than in the west,i saw some interview with random people in japan being asked questions about feminsm and most of them had never heard of it or even knew what it meantt. The ones that did know what it meant was only because they saw it on western media.
Most women did say that japanese men dont have this "ladies first" mentality where men in the west are "supposed" to hold a door for a lady. They also dont rank high on the equality list but thats mostly because men get the higher positions at companys where women rarely have so.But did notice that women in japan also dont want to see a woman in power just because of her gender.
Men are open for sharing the household and raising kids while a women works in the meanwhile aswell.Other than that i really dont know much more about this besides feminism definetly not being a thing in japan. The persons being interviewed, which were random strangers on the street also seemed to gave much tought about their answers and came across as very sensible where western people rather answer based on things they hear on the media or social media.
Besides it's the country of Hentai,i doubt anyone would make an issue out of Cindy's apparal compared to in the west where everything is offensive nowadays.
Japanese people aren't immune to propaganda, trust me.

This reminds me of when the UN asked Japan to ban Manga & Hentai/Anime that depicts sexual violence against women.
"The so-called sexual violence in manga and video games is a made-up
thing and as such does not threaten the rights of actual people" - Japan
"However, while you’re trying to fix the rights of fictional characters, you’re leaving the human rights of real women in the real world left to rot." - Japan
This is true, they just have different kinds of propaganda to deal with. Propaganda that says all foreigners in their country are criminals, propaganda in the media with constant war crime denial among many other things.
Well I have not once been treated like a criminal in Japan at least.
Maybe some people will silently move away, but it's hard to tell why, could be completely unrelated so I ignore.
By treated like a criminal I don't mean random people will try to make a citizens arrest for the cops to show up. I mean that they literally believe that most foreigners come to Japan to commit crimes.
