Alt Tab
Anyone else having issues to alt tab out the game to do something else for a second? Each time I try to alt tab, a grey screen covers my monitors and stays there. I have to restart my pc for it to go away

Soon as I loaded up the game my 2nd monitor went completely black \ blank. It was amazing, never had that happen before.
Alt-tabbed after getting to Hammerhead, it gave me a different cursor but did nothing else. Alt-tabbed again and boom - it is now in "full screen" window mode (Bordered, sadly) but it responds to alt-tabs nicely and I have my 2nd monitor back.

Not sure what the hell that was.

No need to Alt Tab.

Hit F1 to get the windows cursor and just move it to the other monitor.

Then move the cursor back to the game and click to continue playing

in generally I find using shift-tab to bring up the steam overlay, before alt tabbing generally helps a lot, in addition to that. You need to have another application open when alt-tabbing, alt-tabbing to the desktop leaves you in a bit of an odd state in a lot of games.

When you alt-tab back into the game, and out of the steam overlay, if you find the game is in the windows mode, press ALT+ENTER that will pop the game back into fullscreen (this works for many games)

Yep, I had this during the demo and was hoping it was fixed for the main release. It isn't. Unfortunately what happened to me is a combination of what Meph504 offered though, in that I hit Shift+Tab to bring up the overlay, but the overlay wouldn't go away. I tried to Shift+Tab again but I couldn't get it to move, since I couldn't see the screen I tried to Alt+Tab and then had to hard reset my PC.

If i alt-tab i get a black screen and if i open the overlay its stuck open. Forcing me to drop FFXV onto a second desktop just so i can close it in task manager.

Alt Tab is a pain in the ass to deal with currently, I have gotten around issues by turning off full screen and then turning it back, but, PC's may vary..

I don't own dual monitors but I went through the grey screen experience with Alt Tab.

Alt Tab during loading screens tend to cause this problem for me; either way Alt Tab is kinda buggy for me when playing FFXV.

The other alternative I learned is F11 to exit fullscreen and Ctrl Esc to bring up the Mouse and Taskbar.
