Trust me the best way to experience it is to hear
"I've already pushed myself .... to the brink of death" is without stutters :)
Though you can possibly reduce the magnitude of stuttering by creating a page file on an SSD/HDD
So i think that not really a true 4Gb but close enough maybe ?
On the other side, i have a GTX 970 - 4Gb, i7-4790K and the game is on SSD.
i cant have 60 FPs, but i can Play in 1080p with 30fps Solid Stable and without so much concession for the beauty of the game.
That seems better than PS4 for the Eye.
I hope it's help.
I am in the same case, close too, Ram price is terribly high !
(just i case, i talk in an other topic of something, because of my case and PC specs and having à PS4 Pro, i don't know what to do between taking the PS4 version at 30€ until tomorow or the PC version: Topic = http://steamcommunity.com/app/637650/discussions/0/1694914735990537778/ )
A gaming PC can be with 4GB if the game you use don't need more, with just those 4Gb or with some tips, tools etc who helps, llike virtual Memory.
@The Gunslinger: Just in case, that what i am doing, many people will told you that useless, but using virtual memory is really a good help in your case.
Google will give you all you need to understand where and how to setup this, of course you can let windows managed it by his own, but i recommend you to setup it yourself.
In many case, they will told you to never do that on a SSD, "but", if you have enough free space, or if you have a little SSD who isn't really used (salvage one on an old laptop of your sister, etc), you can then setup the virtual memory on it.
Before, that was something that was really no good to do, because SSD are limited in use in time, but now, even SSD with 4 years now, can handle this better, much better.
I did this on mine, 20 GB (that too mush, special use for me, 8Gb to start is enough) and after 1 year intensive playing and other work on it when using this virtual memory, after scanning and checking the SSD, i lost less than 1% of the total space on it (252 GB ), that less than 2.5Gb, around 2Gb, yes that many space, but is that really annoying ? Nop, do this help me a lot before buying new RAM ? Definitely YES !
Again, Check Google for your case and your use, but i really think this can help you to play FF15 on you PC with better look.
And nah mate, virtual memory has absolutely nothing to do with this. Cheers.
That just "your definition" of a Gaming PC, but everybody aren't focusing on Triple A.
Actually more than never with the tone of Indi games who are good and not as (idiotly) demanding as an AC, Elder scroll, etc.
If a Gaming Pc cant be with 4Gb well ... that your problem Dude... and if you think virtual memory cant help then ... why performance are better with in a case like this one ? x)
