...Hm. reconsider your ways SEGA. you had a chance to add infinite in Shadow Generations but you never did. you missed a huge opportunity to redeem infinite.
Can you imagine it? Fans would absolutely flip if he ever returned! But, of course, Shadow wouldn’t remember Infinite, similar to how he doesn't recall Mephiles. Those characters are lost to the timeline now. They’ve both been wiped from the timeline, or have they? Still, there's this lingering thought that Infinite might still be out there somewhere—maybe still trapped in the Phantom Ruby. How epic would it be if he suddenly came back? I think we'd all like to see that happen and bring him back into the canon, somehow.
Honestly, it just feels right for Shadow to face off against Infinite in Shadow Generations, especially since he’s partly responsible for Infinite’s transformation. It would be a fitting moment for Infinite to return. again SEGA you've missed a HUGE opportunity here......but of course SEGA being sega would rather have infinite be a one-off villain. nothing I say matters
I really think it would've been fitting for Shadow to confront Infinite in Generations since Shadow played a huge role in turning him into what he is. Here’s hoping we get to see Infinite return one day, similar to how Mephiles was able to return. *sigh*, Maybe one day... I would like to see him come back and become relevant again. too bad SEGA doesn't care.
The avatars can work well for the same reasons. Heck, I'd argue they'd work better in spinoffs like Rumble and CrossWorlds than they would in a main series game as they don't take the focus away from the main protagonists of the plot like Sonic or Tails.
As for Infinite... who really cares about him, honestly?
doesn't infinite deserve a second chance? what has the poor guy ever done wrong?
i smell unfair bias. i assume you didn't like his backstory. but i liked him, anyway.
you don't think he deserves a second chance...? imagine the potential of his return,
