Exactly... too new and I'd imagine sales are still at least decent at the current MSRP

It's a good game but if I knew the quality of the product I wouldn't of spent £40 on it.
A £25, £30 at least.
Did you mean the other way around?
According to Steam Spy, Mania has sold 1,230 copies between this time last month (22/10) and now (22/11). In other words about 40 copies per day. Changing the day-of-month to compare in a like-for-like makes that number go up or down a little but a glance at Steam Spy shows the sales graph is basically flat.
Forces, for all its failings, is probably outselling Mania each day for now.
That said I don't think Mania should be going on sale just yet. There are other reasons to (or not to) discount a game. Namely, discounting too early leads customers to expect early discounts in the future which isn't a good idea.
I wouldn't be too surprised if Mania got a 10-20% discount for the Christmas sale, because that's an extra month. 25% not impossible but would surprise me a little.
Not to bring DRM into the discussion but I'm kind of hoping they use the first noteworthy discount to quietly remove the DRM. That way they can help Denuvo save face a bit by claiming the extra sales were due to the discount rather than people ending a boycott.
