Black Market Access
I passed up on it twice to get more rep but i haven't seen it since... Does it stop appearing at some point?

Random chance but as I recall from discussions on the paradox forum when you decline it then it won't reappear for a game year at least.

It appeared twice tho in relative short span... it's been more than a year ingame. I don't know it just feels like somethings up.

It might just be by chance, but almost every time I have been offered Black market access it has been in a system with a black market.

To elaborate tbe discussion I recall indicated 3 chances/ways to get the invite. So you could get 2 invites in a short time. Decline they each go back into the deck for a random chance to appear with at least a year wait for them. Are you loathed by pirates? I believe that eliminates one of the chances.

No as a matter of fact i have obtained "liked" status, which is why i held off in the first place - to get the discount.

Then just bad luck. My current play thru is about 1.5 years in and I haven't gotten an invitation. In a previous play thru I got one on the 2nd time i left a planet.

If you get to the highest rep with them then you will get a free invitation i believe.

It has a more frequent chance to show up the more you are liked by the Pirates but I dont know if that is effected by your decline cool down . This career play though It took me almost a tear to get my first invite but by that time I had worked to honoured. Whilst other times you can get it the first month but not have enough rep / c bills to purchase. The black market is crazy good now and I would save up to get it asap.
