Having to pay for the hotel room made me quit the game

So I logged about 7h in this game, I found it really fun, if somewhat mentally taxing due to the writing, but nonetheless very enjoyable. Except for the part where you get a game over if you can't pay for your hotel room.

I completed at least one day, maybe two I can't quite remember, and I was at a point where I was afraid of actually investigating anything because I'm worrying too much about how the hell am I gonna find the cash when Kim had to bail me out for the first payment already. I think I was a whole 7 reals short or something? And money pick up are in such small amounts, and rarity, that I wound up in this sort of choice paralysis where I don't feel like I can investigate, and if I prioritise finding cash I'm getting nowhere, without even being sure I will find enough money in the first place.

This dilemma kinda ruined the game for me, but I'd love to play it again sometime in the future. Is it actually that hard to find the money for the hotel room? Does the game just do a really good job at making you feel helpless and desperate while it will ensure you have enough with handouts like Kim helping you with the first payment? Should I be selling all the ♥♥♥♥ I come across to the pawn shop? Did I somehow make up the fact that it game overs you if you can't pay while it's actually fine and the game keeps going?

you only have to pay forday 2.
you already know about day 1, but day 3, a free place to sleep unlocks.
i'm thinking maybe you didn't find the plastic bag. the main regular way to make money is to recycle bottles. the bag, if i remember correctly, isnear the elite woman on the boat.

I recommend uninstalling, and wrapping yourself in bubble wrap OP. It's your only hope.

Actually you pay just 1 day on Tuesday event. Because 1st day when you interact with Cafetaria after 10pm. Kim'll allow you to use his equipment to pawn shop for cover all your bill, by interact with his car > get the item. And you need Ace High from Cabinet of Thought. Kim'll have empathy for you. Many situaion connect not by only 1 factor. Just Roleplay.
