music genre for a song?
Does anyone know what kind of music genre "off we go into the wild pale yonder" is? (Specifically near the end)
Are there any other songs like that?

Krautrock, experimental German rock from the 80's to early 00's, has lots of songs that are close. However a vast majority of the songs in that genre are just that, experimental, so they can strain the ears a bit. You'll have to dig for the gems. Another is Psychrock, which has some decent, similiar sounding tracks that can be a bit on the heavier side towards the end. Then there's Post-Rock which starts out light then gets heavy until it tapers out towards the end (I enjoy this one the most). If you have spotify I could link a playlist.
