Kim to wear The Jacket

Returning player for the Jamais Vu achievements. I'd done everything up to this point, including a Hardcore run, but when I toggle Hardcore and start a new game, Kim doesn't have The Jacket.

Have I missed something? I got the Hardcore achievement, so I assume I was all good.

You didn't miss anything, it's just a later update to the game that didn't take into account your past actions.

I, too, completed "Venture into the HARDCORE" months before the Jamais Vu update. After the update, the game never recognized past players' having completed Hardcore mode.

Normally, the "Get Kim to Wear *The Jacket*" achievement is earned when you meet Kim for the first time in the Whirling-In-Rags after completion of a Hardcore run. However, returning players like us would need to either do one of two things: you can either complete another Hardcore run, or you can edit your Settings file to reflect that you have already completed it.

To attain the flag for having completed Hardcore mode, you can perform the following:

1. Open C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\ZAUM Studio\Disco Elysium\Settings

2. CTRL+F for "hardcore_playthrough_completed"

3. Set the value of this to true by changing "boolValue": false to "boolValue": true

4. Save, and open Disco Elysium
