Any other games similar to this available? (Suggestions?)
This has become one of my favorite games and I am curious if anyone could recommend anything vaguely similar that is out there.

Because of stuff that happened at Zaum, a lot of Disco Elysium developers left the company, founded their own companies, and started working on "Disco-like" spiritual successors. (this video is a pretty good explanation) Last time I checked, the 4 biggest "Disco-like" projects were being made at Red Info, Summer Eternal, Dark Math, and Longdue. If you wait long enough, 1 or 2 of them might release.

Closest things that already exist are probably Planescape Torment and Baldur's Gate 3, though.

Thank you for the information. I look forward to seeing something from one of the original developers.
I hear planescape torment is similar.
i mean, it was more of an artistic inspiration, but i don't think i've heard anyone here mention kentucky route zero. the look of disco was inspired by it.

I like Slay the Princess and Pentiment for a lot of the reasons I like Disco - mystery RPGs with a lot of focus on player input, unique art styles, and a lot of existentialism. And completely miserable protagonists. They don't play the same way as Disco, but they're fantastic in their own right and I'd say worth having a look at :)

Norco has a similar vibe in that it's a very cerebral, if not psychedelic point and click adventure. I'd call it modern or post-cyberpunk There's no RPG elements like a character screen but its text heavy and very immersive if you like mood :D

The life and suffering of Sir Brante is pretty great narrative and player choice-wise.
It's not out yet but, Hopetown

if you go all in on shivers the parallels are obvious, minus the combat
Esoteric Ebb is an upcoming game that borrows heavily from Disco Elysium; basically a clone in the same way Saints Row was a clone of Grand Theft Auto. I think it has just enough of its own character, though. It has a D&D style setting, uses D20 instead of 2D6 for rolls. There's a demo available right now, too.
Pathologic 2 (and 3 is on the way). It has eerie atmosphere, messed-up nuanced universe, protagonist talking to weird beings, contrasting ideologies, solving odd mysteries, breaking the 4th wall, etc. Disco and Pathologic are essentially different, especially in terms of gameplay, but in my perception, they are two sides of the same coin.
hmmm. can we count arcanum of magicka and steamworks? the skill checks are also there and the story has also some social implications.
also, PT had a spiritual successor of sorts called Torment: Tides of Numenera
