Disco Elysium crashing locking my PC & I have to hit reboot button!!!

Hi all. Been playing Disco Elysium recently and it was running OK on day 1 but in day 2 the game will at random freeze and the graphics turns into something yucky (see pic https://ibb.co/Csf90vc ) and I cannot Ctrl Alt Del to Windows desktop and I have no choice but to hit the reboot button on my PC to get out of the game crash! I then uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and played it for only 5 to 10 min before the damn game crashed again in the same way!!!

This has totally ruined the game experience and I am very desperate to find out what is causing the game to crash on my PC??? I have Googled and search YouTube but haven't found anyone else having that same crash experience!

So I was wondering if any of you might have experienced the same issue as me and have found a fix for it? Any help will be most appreciated!

64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Windows 10
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
