Screen goes black when morale is low

This game is very fun but I've lost major progress twice now because every time my morale gets low the screen starts going black. I can still check my inventory and talk to NPC's but I can never get past their first dialogue box if I do decide to initiate conversation, leaving me stuck. How can I fix this.

Same thing happens to me when I lose health. I've already filled bug report, hope they'll do something about it

I have a similar bug, If my health or morale drops to nothing well everything but the character is black. Isn't there supposedly a death message; newspaper headline?

I have the same bug, also whenever lose health, have asked Steam for refund as only played it an hour and half but they refused and also have no solution to fix this problem!

Friends, if your morale or health drops to 0 you die. It is not a bug. That's why you need to constantly save your progress.

But it doesn't tell us we died, that is the bug. Only character is visible everything is black. I have submitted a bug report.
