Hidden Tasks???
Playing GOG Final Cut version. OK this is driving me absolutely NUTS, and may just be a gamebreaker for me. What the heck are Hidden Tasks? The game NEVER explains this. Under Tasks I have Monday and Hidden, I don't really understand Monday either but whatever, I picked up a bunch of quests, they all fall under the word Monday, below that (indented) I have the word Hidden, nothing below that. Are Hidden Tasks just a funny way of saying side quests that you have to find (they are hidden), this seems silly as all side quests in RPGs are hidden until you FIND the person and then FIND the side quest. Why call them HIDDEN????? Are they hidden because people do not have quest markers over their heads, this too is silly. Many RPGs now a days do not have quest markers, are they hidden because they are hidden in certain dialog trees only?? I guess this is the case from my many searches. The quest has been to find this answer. It is not a fun "hidden task" if you ask me. Would have been nice if this new terminology etc was explained, was that too hard for devs to just to explain this a bit? This has been driving me damn crazy! I even read all the hints, no dice. I even went online and searched for answers to this and all I found on google was spoilers as I was trying to complete my "hidden task" to find out what the hell are hidden tasks. The spoilers at this point and the fact I could not find the answer on Google, leave me wanting to abandon this game. If at the beginning of the game you do not find any right away I guess that is my answer. I guess I will not know if I am correct in my assumptions until I find a "hidden" task and then it pops up under HIDDEN Tasks. Devs should note that games do not come with manuals any more digital or otherwise so when they make a "new" or experimental game they should explain stuff better. Monday is not explained either, I have no idea if this is a deadline or what exactly, again no explanation, play to figure it out I suppose. But I want my brainpower to go into the game itself not trying to figure out how to play. Also how are hidden tasks different from just normal tasks that you have to FIND just the same by talking to people or doing things? Seems redundant. Sorry I am getting OCD over this. Thanks to any kind souls that may guide me in advance

I think hidden tasks is just the game's way of telling the player that they found the ending of some quest that wasn't officially picked by them in the first place. I had something like that on my second playthrough, don't remember particular things, but it was something like 'complete hidden task of finding your coat', i.e. I hadn't spoken to anyone about that coat, so the game never officially stated that there's this quest of finding the coat. But the item is still there, and you can obtain it without looking for some dialog to start the quest. So yeah, it seems like hidden and normal tasks are the same, but events in this game are not tied to quests like in others, and i think it's great actually for variability and saving different options for the player

eh, I don't really bothered with the hidden tasks thingy. When it decided to appear it will appear so no need to be stressed out by it, dude. Just walk through every dialogue tree and enjoy the flow.

They arent "secret" or missable, they are just hidden. Hidden as in unlisted. There js nothing unusual about them, my autistic friend. No special requirements.

Some of them include: Talk to Garte about Silvie, The "special" borscht, Getting a topping pie from Gary, Buy FALN pants from Cuno...

AND IF you haven't found those after playing the whole game, well, next time try to pay more attention and focus on details. Its all there. I have played every single variation of every event of this game in aproximately 800 hours. All you need is dedication.
